Paul Hollick, chief commercial officer at Alphabet says that the barriers to EV ownership are falling

Electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids still have their disadvantages – namely cost and range – but Alphabet offers an EV fleet consultancy service to help business car managers decide if ultra-green vehicles are suitable.

They can analyze your vehicle usage, suggest which vehicles you should invest in, help you set-up charging points and even arrange alternative transport for when an EV isn’t appropriate.

Hollick continues: “Following the AlphaElectric launch event, 100% of those surveyed said that they would consider adopting EVs as part of their fleet, with many of those planning to do so within the next two years.”
