Abingdon Freight Forwarding Agency invests £200,00 in fleet

Abingdon Freight Forwarding Agency (AFFA) has invested more than £200,000 in its fleet, adding 10 vehicles.

The additions include four 7.5-tonne, four 18-tonne and two 26-tonne trucks to support the ongoing growth of its core road freight and pallet delivery services.

The Abingdon-based business, which employs a team of 26, has been a shareholder member of Pallet-Track since 2005, covering pallet collection and delivery services across the Oxford and Aylesbury postcodes.

AFFA will be adding dual-branded curtains to the trucks.

The firm operates a total fleet of 19 trucks and 13 trailers and plans to refresh the remainder of its vehicles later in the year with double-deck trailers, straight-frame trucks, and more 26-tonne vehicles.

AFFA also promoted Harry Bonser to the role of general manager after joining the company as a Class 1 HGV driver.

“As a young, energetic, and agile team, we have real ambition to expand the business and plan to achieve this by increasing our general haulage operations and national presence.
