ARB UK Truckman has opened a new facility in Bristol following a £250,000 investment, strengthening its presence across the South and South West and creating new jobs as demand for 4×4, pickup and van upgrades continues to grow.

The 1,300 sq ft site becomes a regional hub for the manufacturer and retailer, which brings together the British arm of global 4×4 brand ARB and Truckman, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of pickup accessories.

The operation mirrors the capabilities of the company’s Dudley headquarters, offering retail, trade and fleet services, fitting, stock holding and regional customer support.

Five new roles have already been created – three in sales and two in fitting – with further recruitment expected as the site scales up.

The Bristol base also manages local sales, marketing and customer service activity, supporting commercial fleets, trade users, van and pickup conversions, and the growing leisure and overlanding market.

Products available from the site include hardtops, roof racks, suspension systems, storage solutions, lighting and full vehicle conversions for commercial, fleet and adventure use.

Carwyn Davis, who leads the Bristol operation, said the new site is already attracting strong interest from both trade and retail customers.

He said: “There’s a strong appetite for what we offer in this part of the country. We’ve built a capable team and the response so far has been really positive.

“Customers want access to quality products and expert advice without having to travel halfway across the country – and now they’ve got it on their doorstep.”

Richard Langman, Managing Director of ARB Truckman, said the investment reflects a strategic push to meet growing regional demand.

He said: “We’ve seen consistent growth in demand from the South West, and this investment allows us to respond in a way that’s both practical and customer-focused.

“The South West is a key location for campers and adventure drivers, whereas Dudley is very much geared towards trade, fleet and commercial vehicles. Bristol will offer that too, but with a regional slant – we’re here to meet the expectations of customers who use their vehicles differently.”

The site is expected to expand its workforce and capacity further in 2026 as ARB UK Truckman continues to grow its national footprint.
