As part of a nationwide roll-out, Arnold Clark is expanding Arnold Clark Charge into key locations across the UK to support both long-distance electric vehicle (EV) travel and local communities.
Arnold Clark Charge was launched in 2024 as part of a £30m investment by Arnold Clark.
The charging network was recognised in the Zapmap 2025 Awards, receiving the title of ‘Up-and-Coming Rapid/Ultra-rapid EV Charging Network’.
In Zapmap’s annual survey of 4,000 UK EV drivers, the network earned high ratings across all five key metrics, including the highest score of any network for customer support.
Zapmap also praised its competitive pricing, reliability and ease of use.
The network now has more than 50 ultra-rapid charging hubs at Arnold Clark branches across the country, all open to the public.
Each hub offers up to 12 ultra-rapid chargers, delivering speeds of up to 150kW to enable drivers to top up quickly and get back on the road.
Drivers can get ultra-rapid charging available at 55p per kWh, lower than the UK average of 76p per kWh.
Payments can be made through the Arnold Clark app, roaming partners or via contactless at all charging hubs.
