IN 2014, Arval branched out into the brave new world of social media; it is now reaping the rewards of its hard work.

Its social media presence is now one of the leading lights in the vehicle leasing industry – Arval is engaging with businesses and drivers across Twitter and Facebook on a regular basis.

In less than one year, Arval has approaching 11,000 Facebook Likes and over 2,000 Twitter followers – both channels are expanding continuously and engagement levels in posted content is high.

5 reasons why social media is important for leasing companies

Arval made the decision to invest in social media for a number of reasons. They felt that:

  • Social media is a modern method of communication for people to receive and digest information
  • Smartphone and tablet use has greatly increased the accessibility of social media portals allowing new audiences to be penetrated
  • Social media is an easy way for customers, potential clients and drivers to get in touch with one another
  • Facebook and Twitter are a useful platform to post interesting and informative updates to audiences who are interested in the company that they are following
  • Social media is excellent for brand awareness
