Audi has revealed the Q9, the largest car it has ever made, as a rival to the BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS.
The Q9 is available with six or seven seats and features automatic doors, adaptive air suspension and the largest sunroof Audi has ever fitted to a production car.
UK deliveries are expected to begin by year-end, with the sole powertrain option at launch being a 3.0-litre V6 diesel, with a mild hybrid system and an electronic compressor, as is used in the latest Q7.

It produces 299PS and combines quattro all wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The Q9 also shares its three-screen interior layout with the Q7, featuring an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch central screen and a 12.3-inch passenger display.
Orders will open at the end of August.
Emergency Assist will debut on the Q9, allowing the car to gradually reduce its speed and stop on the hard shoulder, if the driver is unresponsive.
High specification models will use curved digital OLED rear lights, which Audi said improve visibility.
