Electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator Believ has become a sponsor of Super League rugby, aiming to drive awareness of EV charging, as part of its commitment to invest in local communities.
The company said the partnership reflects the strong presence of Super League in the North of England, where Believ is based.
Believ will also sponsor the Power Rankings, a weekly assessment of all 14 clubs’ performance, momentum and results.
Guy Bartlett, CEO at Believ, said: “We are very excited to be partnering with Rugby League, a sport that plays such an important role in towns and cities across the UK.
“As EV uptake increases, it’s vital that charging is rolled out in a way that fits naturally into everyday life and supports how people use their vehicles.
“This partnership also allows us to engage with communities across the UK. It demonstrates how reliable, renewable charging infrastructure can help deliver our mission of cleaner air for all and support the wider transition to sustainable transport.”
Bobby Bahadori, commercial director at Rugby League Commercial, said: “We are thrilled to be able to announce this partnership with Believ.
“We have real admiration for the work they are undertaking to create cleaner air for all.
“With their high-quality charging infrastructure, Believ are a great fit for Super League and the electric performances we are looking forward to witnessing across stadiums in 2026.
“Rugby League is committed to environmental sustainability at all levels, and we look forward to working with our clubs and players in helping deliver this.”
