HYUNDAI has released the first pictures of its next-generation i10.

Longer, wider and lower than the out-going model, the latest car is based on an all-new platform and boasts improved interior space for both passengers and their luggage. Improved comfort and refinement are promised too.

The new i10 was developed at Hyundai’s German technical centre and will be produced at the company’s Turkish factory alongside the larger i20.

Allan Rushforth, Senior Vice President and COO of Hyundai Motor Europe, said: “New Generation i10 is another significant step forward for Hyundai Motor.  Every aspect of the car has been designed and rigorously developed to meet the demands and needs of European consumers.

“New Generation i10 fully embodies Hyundai’s ‘true value’ proposition, bringing higher levels of features and functionality than many buyers would expect to find in a vehicle of this segment.”

The new i10 will make its first public appearance at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
