Renault UK’s performance at the Business Motoring Awards formed part of a record-breaking year for the brand, which collected 83 industry awards during 2025 – averaging one accolade every five days and surpassing its previous record of 53 awards set in 2024.

At the Business Motoring Awards 2025, Renault secured major recognition across its range, with the Clio named Best Small Car, the Renault 5 E-Tech electric taking both Best Small EV and Business Car of the Year, and the Scenic collecting Business Car of the Year honours in a separate category.

The results reinforced Renault’s strength with fleet and business buyers, particularly as electrification accelerates across company car and van markets.

Pure-electric models accounted for more than 61% of all awards won by Renault during the year, with every current Renault electric car securing at least one trophy.

The standout performer was the Renault 5 E-Tech electric, which claimed 30 awards in total during 2025, including the International Car of the Year title.

Its success followed the Scenic’s overall win in 2024, making Renault one of the few manufacturers to achieve consecutive victories in the prestigious awards.

Momentum also built quickly for the Renault 4 E-Tech electric, which won eight awards during 2025 despite only launching earlier in the year.

These included Top Gear’s Electric Car of the Year and Parkers’ Car of the Year, underlining the model’s immediate impact across both consumer and fleet audiences.

Renault’s light commercial vehicle range was similarly recognised. The Master and Kangoo E-Tech models collected multiple trophies, with the new Master winning 12 awards during 2025 alone, including being named Best Large Van at 7 different award ceremonies.

Hybrid models were also acknowledged, with awards for the Clio and Rafale highlighting Renault’s two-pronged approach of offering electric and hybrid powertrains side by side.

Adam Wood, managing director at Renault UK, said: “These awards cap a momentous year for us and we are grateful for every single one.

“At a time when car buyers have never had so much choice, we are proud that Renault’s product line-up is recognised as class-leading by so many independent experts.

“Surpassing last year’s record number of awards demonstrates the momentum building at Renault.”
