The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) has appointed Simon Tebbutt (pictured) as member services director.
Tebbutt will be tasked with strengthening training events, support services, and improving member engagement.
Prior to joining the BVRLA, Tebbutt served as director of membership at the National Pharmacy Association.
During his time at the association, Tebbutt developed member support by digitalising the member experience.
Tebbutt previously held roles at Coca-Cola and Camelot.
Toby Poston, chief executive of the BVRLA, said: “Simon brings a wealth of commercial experience and a strong trade association track record.
“His appointment will help us modernise and develop our services, while finding new ways of adding value for our members and the sector beyond.”
The association will launch its new Member Services Department on 23rd June, focusing on quality support and engagement for its members.
Tebbutt said: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining the BVRLA at this crucial time.
“The sector is dealing with a host of challenges, most notably how to decarbonise fleets of all shapes, sizes and functions.
“I am looking forward to meeting with as many members as possible to fully understand their pain points and develop ways in which the BVRLA can help, while making it as easy as possible to interact with us.”
