New engines for new Mini

The new-look Mini was shown for the first time at the Paris Motor Show.</p><p> Although the design looks strikingly familiar, every panel has been changed.</p><p> For drivers of company cars, the good news is the drop in tax bandings: Cooper is 15% (the lowest band); Cooper S is 19%. </p><p> There is a new 1.6-litre engine in the Cooper model. And a direct injection 1.6-litre engine in the Cooper S. This engine is turbocharged.</p><p> The interior features more space. All-new Audi A4 executive saloon launches

A brand-new version of the Audi A4 will go on sale early next year.</p><p> It will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Show this September.</p><p> Orders for the new car open at Audi dealers from 11 September. </p><p>Delivery will be Q1 2008.</p><p> The new car features a range of five engines: two petrol; three diesel.</p><p> The 143PS 2.0-litre TDI and 160PS 1.8-litre TFSI engines will be key choices in the business car market.</p><p> Depending on engine there will be the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox; six-speed tiptronic auto transmission; and multitronic continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).</p><p> The A4 will have the longest wheelbase in the compact executive class, says Audi.
