Citroen’s fuel card for SME contract customers will save up to 4p a litre

 

IT’S never been more important for van operators to keep transport costs down. And, despite the Chancellor scrapping September’s increase in duty, fuel costs play a large part in overall expenditure. But thanks to a new fuel card initiative introduced by Citroen Contract Motoring, its SME customers will enjoy lower petrol and diesel prices nationwide, with no minimum expenditure. CCM has introduced the fuel card in partnership with industry specialist The Fuelcard People, who will administer the service. The fuel card is available to CCM’s light commercial vehicle customers and users can expect savings of up to 4p a litre on average pump prices and 10p a litre on motorway refuelling. With no minimum expenditure, the CCM fuel card will be of particular interest to small businesses. The card is being offered free for the first year, with a 50% discount offered on the fee during the following year. A named, dedicated account manager will be assigned to every customer to ensure good personal service. Other benefits include:

• Free zero liability cover to protect against card fraud and misuse, and free 24/7 online account access.
• Interval between refuelling and invoicing which could give up to 14 days of free credit
• Minimal admin – a weekly VAT-compliant invoice covers all transactions for every vehicle, and payment is made automatically by direct debit.
