The new Skoda’s will carry Trinity’s engineers all over the UK, supplying and fitting fire and security systems

ENGINEERS working for specialist contractor Trinity Fire & Security Systems will be racking up the miles in new Skoda Octavias in future.

The Czech brand has secured a deal to supply 110 new SKODA Octavia Estate 1.6 TDI SEs to Trinity this year. The first 40 will be delivered in the next two months, and will be joined by the remaining 70 before the end of 2014.

Why did Trinity pick the Octavia estate?

  • Combined cycle fuel consumption of 74.3mpg
  • Tax busting emissions of 99g/km
  • Company car tax rate of only 14%
  • Impressive reliability record

Trinity’s engineers travel across the country supplying and maintaining fire and security systems to a wide variety of businesses.

The firm’s customer base ranges across commercial and banking companies, the Ministry of Defence, NHS, local government, shopping centres and science parks.

According to Trinity’s Finance Director Paul Clayton, the Octavia scores on the space of its 610-litre boot, its economy and its green credentials.

Official figures for the SKODA Octavia 1.6 TDI quote combined cycle fuel consumption of up to 74.3mpg and CO2 emissions from a tax-busting 99g/km, leading to an impressively low 14 per cent company car tax rate.

“Trinity has always prided itself on having a cost effective and efficient fleet. We were impressed by the Skoda Octavia Estate’s reliability, quality and class-leading space, combined with its low emissions and efficient engine,” Clayton says.
