Cupra has added an entry-level variant of the Tavascan, featuring a smaller 58kWh battery and a less-powerful 190PS electric motor.
It will offer 270 miles of range and the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes.
Pricing will be announced soon and first deliveries are expected in Q3.
The previous entry-point to the Cupra Tavascan range, which has 286PS and a 77kWh battery, started at £47,350.
Cupra will continue to offer this model, as well as the range-topping VZ, with all wheel drive, 340PS and a 77kWh battery.
In addition to adding an entry-level model, Cupra has made a series of changes to the entire Tavascan range, such as the addition of a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit and a steering wheel with physical buttons in place of the previous touch controls.
Mobile Device Key, which allows the car to be unlocked and started through a phone, vehicle-to-load (V2L), electric air vents and the option of Midnight Black exterior paint have also been added.
The car’s key can be shared with up to four users, with a fifth reserved for the main driver.
