Dash Express has strengthened its presence in the South West by officially taking over The APC’s depot in Exeter. The 5,500 sq. ft. site, based at Woodbury Business Park, will support the company’s operations alongside existing locations in Plymouth and Redruth.
The expansion is part of the group’s wider strategy to enhance regional delivery coverage and serve more businesses across Devon and Cornwall. Paul Dash, operations director at The Dash Group, said: “Exeter plays an important role in our long-term strategy, and this latest investment reflects our ongoing commitment to providing SMEs with tailored delivery solutions that empower them to grow with confidence.”
The move follows increased demand from local businesses and builds on Dash Express’s recent investment in a larger Plymouth depot. The company will continue to use The APC’s national network to help firms in the region reach customers across the UK.
Jonathan Smith, chief executive at The APC, said: “The Dash Group’s growth in the South West reflects exactly what The APC network is built on – supporting local businesses through strong regional service and nationwide reach.”
Dash Express is already hiring for roles in Exeter, including a new business manager, with more job opportunities expected as operations grow. Future plans include relocating to a larger site and offering additional services such as same-day delivery and pallet distribution. The firm is also exploring sustainability options, including solar panels and EV charging infrastructure.
