Believ has announced that David Bagwell, senior business development manager, will take on the role of chair for the British Parking Association’s EV Connect group, effective from 1st July 2025.
Bagwell’s appointment comes as the UK’s EV sector continues to grow, with increasing focus on collaboration and innovation in public charging infrastructure. He brings a strong background in EV charging development, both at Believ and in earlier roles, and will now help steer the group’s strategy at a key moment for the industry.
“I’m honoured to take on the position of chair for the EV Connect group,” said Bagwell. “The electric vehicle sector is evolving rapidly, and this role gives me the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals who are helping shape its future. The key to advancing the industry will be collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and ensuring that we create accessible, sustainable solutions for all.”
The EV Connect group supports BPA members by offering a platform for best practice, consultation, and knowledge-sharing across the EV landscape. Under Bagwell’s leadership, it will continue to foster dialogue among stakeholders and contribute to policy development in support of the UK’s charging infrastructure.
His appointment reflects Believ’s commitment to sustainability and its involvement in advancing the UK’s EV charging capabilities. The group will remain aligned with the BPA’s values of integrity, partnership, and innovation.
