Licence Check has reported that its Driver and Vehicle Information Solution (DAVIS) platform checked 1.5 million driving licences in 2025.
Total drivers registered on the system also passed 1,000,000 for the first time and its business customer base passed 4,500.
Licence Check expects DAVIS to grow further in 2026, with it aiming to complete the migration of customers from its sister company DriverCheck.
It will also invest in product development for DAVIS, as well as DAVIS Fleet, its fleet management solution.
Keith Allen (pictured, second from right), managing director at Licence Check, said: “To have over 1,000,000 drivers on DAVIS is fantastic news and to reach 1.5 million licence checks – the third year in a row we’ve beaten the 1,000,000 mark – speaks volumes for the ease-of-use of the platform, its effectiveness and the sheer hard work of our highly talented team.
“We are forecasting around 5,500 business customers with more than 1.5 million drivers on the DAVIS platform within the next 18 months once DriverCheck has completed the migration of its customers onto the platform, and we’ll then be carrying out around 2,200,000 licence checks annually – reaffirming our position as far and away the market leader.
“This will create a very powerful business with outstanding potential for further growth, and continued expansion.
“We are seeing steady and increasing demand for our interactive coaching service, DAVIS Coaching, which is delivered by driver app, and provides bite-sized educational content for company drivers that is interactive and easily accessible.
“And DAVIS Fleet, which now has almost 10,000 vehicles on the platform in its own right, extends what was traditionally a licence checking service into an analytical fleet management and reporting solution for fleet operators.
“We continually developed DAVIS Fleet last year with a host of new features and there is a string of exciting new developments scheduled for this year, including further functionality for the driver app.
“We believe these factors, when taken together, will help further fuel the continuous growth of the business and keep us firmly in the number one spot in the licence checking and fleet risk management arena.”
