Christmas Party
Providing transport for staff is one way to failsafe against drinking and driving problems

Do you have a policy in place to manage your company car fleet over winter and the Christmas period? Surprisingly, few SMEs do, despite the duty of care issue.

Tyre maintenance

It is essential that tyres are checked regularly, especially in the winter season. Make sure that all tyre treads are properly checked and that none of your company cars’ tyres are near the legal limit. At the same time as checking the treads, check the pressure and ensure that there are no punctures or other tyre abnormalities that could result in an accident.

Winter tyres

By fitting winter tyres to your company vehicles, it not only improves braking distance time, it also helps grip and even, it is said, fuel economy. Lighting and Batteries

Always make sure that all company car lighting is in full working order, including break lights and main-beam. Before setting off on any journey, make sure that your employees check that there is no mud or snow obstructing the lights and also to check their indicator and fog lamps are in full working order.
