DKV Mobility has launched the DKV Mobility Carbon Monitor, a new service designed to help companies report and manage their fleet emissions in line with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The platform provides reliable carbon data and aims to simplify the complex process of sustainability reporting, particularly for companies operating vehicle fleets across Europe.
The CSRD, which came into force in January 2023, requires a growing number of companies to disclose detailed information about their environmental impact. This includes emissions throughout the value chain, making it essential for companies – including smaller firms providing logistics services – to have access to accurate carbon data.
The DKV Mobility Carbon Monitor supports this need by generating an annual CO2e report that gives a detailed overview of fleet emissions, accompanied by a methodology report outlining the calculation process. The service calculates emissions for each refuelling or charging event, based on fuel or electricity consumption across countries, and covers the full energy life cycle from generation to usage (Well-to-Wheel).

As part of the DKV Analytics Premium suite, accessible via the digital DKV Mobility customer portal, the Carbon Monitor also allows users to view and export emissions data from each individual refuelling or charging process.
