Drivers adapting quickly to home charging routines, finds Pod

92% also said smart overnight charging makes EV ownership feel simpler, while 75% rarely thought about charging once their home charger was installed.

Research from EV charging provider Pod has revealed that four in five Brits (81%) have found home charging easier than expected, and almost all (98%) said it quickly became part of their routine.

Nine in 10 (92%) also said smart overnight charging makes EV ownership feel simpler, while 75% rarely thought about charging once their home charger was installed.

Pod also partnered with internet personality Troy Hawke to celebrate drivers who have made the switch to EV charging at home.

Bringing his high street compliments to people’s doorsteps, Hawke surprised Pod customers with his signature praise, celebrating them for making the switch to EV charging at home.

Hawke said: “It was a genuine joy surprising Pod customers on a beautiful day in the Southeast of England and reminding them what a wonderful and practical decision they made.
