E.ON Next has announced a partnership with Ohme, providing cheaper off-peak electric vehicle (EV) home charging.
From midnight until 7am, the ‘Next Drive’ tariff will offer EV charging at 6.7p/kWh.
David Watson, CEO at Ohme, said: “Ohme is committed to bringing affordable home charging to as many EV drivers as possible by connecting them with the UK’s best electricity tariffs.
“This customer offer with E.ON Next is a great step to helping EV drivers access the best tariffs and the best rates on the market.”
When using an Ohme charger, drivers are able to charge a 49kWh EV battery from 0 to 100% for £3.29, enabling a Smart #1 to fully charge, giving 193 miles of range.
Jean Coleman, commercial director at E.ON Next, said: “Ohme is a progressive EV charging company and our Next Drive tariff offer will help more customers to unlock smarter and cheaper overnight charging, so we’re delighted to be working with them.
“We want to make the switch to electric easy and accessible for all, helping to ensure that no driver is left behind in the e-mobility transition.”
The Next Drive tariff is the longest and most affordable off-peak EV home charging tariff currently on the market.
