Evri has announced a two-year extension to its delivery partnership with Debenhams Group, which owns brands including PrettyLittleThing, boohoo, boohooMAN and Karen Millen.

The partnership, in place since 2014, recorded 807 million parcels in the past financial year – the largest volume yet handled by Evri for the retailer.

The renewed agreement strengthens Evri’s role as one of Debenhams Group’s key delivery partners and is underpinned by Evri’s £50m investment in its locker strategy. The parcel firm plans to more than double its ParcelShop and locker network by 2030, expanding to 25,000 locations to give customers more choice over how and when they receive their orders.

The extension follows a series of major announcements by Evri, including its proposed merger with DHL eCommerce UK and the acquisition of Coll-8, an Irish customs clearance and logistics specialist.

David Saenz, chief commercial officer at Evri, said: “This is an exciting time for Evri, as we invest in doubling our ParcelShop and locker network by 2030, as well as the announcement of our proposed merger with DHL eCommerce UK, all of which makes it particularly special for us that we can continue to strengthen our long-term client relationships.”

Dan Finley, chief executive officer at Debenhams Group, added: “As a global business serving millions of customers, delivering a seamless and reliable service is our top priority. Today’s shoppers expect speed, flexibility and full visibility when it comes to receiving their items, whenever and however they choose to shop.”
