Farizon SV makes strong debut with UK fleet buyers at Millbrook
The all-electric Farizon SV large van impressed UK fleet managers at UTAC Millbrook with its driveability, comfort and high-tech features.
Farizon’s SV large van has drawn strong feedback from UK fleet professionals following its appearance at Company Car in Action, where more than 100 buyers tested the electric LCV across the test tracks of UTAC Millbrook in Bedfordshire.
Over two days, the L1 H1 and L2 H2 versions of the SV were put through their paces alongside other OEM offerings.
Nick Falconer, delivery manager – transport services at Avon and Somerset Police, said: “My first impressions of driving the Farizon SV are great. It’s got a nice spacious cabin, great visibility, is comfortable and has a nice clean design inside. A lot of drivers just want to move from a conventional vehicle to something a bit different, and the Farizon enables this.”
Muiris O’Connell, chief financial officer at Sovereign Partners, added: “I’m interested in electrifying my fleet and the SV was much better than I expected – I came away pleasantly surprised.”
Martyn Escritt, general manager at Essex Motor Factors, said: “The SV drove like a good family SUV, and it looks to have plenty of pallet space.”
Farizon also showcased an L1 H1 in the event’s ‘Vans in Action’ area and displayed an L3 H3 version adapted as a barista bar.
The model’s standard vehicle-to-load (V2L) system powered a coffee machine, grinder and full-size fridge, using three 240v / 3.3kW domestic sockets in the load bay.
Kate McLaren, head of marketing and sales operations at Jameel Motors Farizon Auto UK, participated in a panel session at the event.
