1. CO2 emissions/ 75mpg
Jaguar has clearly had the company car buyer in mind when designing the new XE, as from launch there will be a model capable of returning a claimed 75mpg and emitting only 99g/km of CO2.
The model in question uses a 161bhp 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine which is part of the new modular Ingenium engine range and falls into the 15 per cent bracket for BIK ratings.
Around 380Nm of torque is also produced from as little as 1,750rpm so it’s certainly no slouch.
Jaguar claims the performance and economy balance has been made achievable through reducing internal friction by 17 per cent.
