Fleet Assist MD to chair BVRLA fleet management committee

Vincent St Claire (pictured), the managing director of Fleet Assist, has been appointed as chair of the BVRLA vehicle fleet management (VFM) committee.

He will chair three annual fleet management events and shape the agendas of the BVRLA VFM forums.

St Claire takes over from Blaine Colston, general manager of vehicle operations at KINTO UK, who will continue to be an active member of the VFM committee.

Toby Poston, chief executive at the BVRLA, said: “It is fantastic to welcome Vincent to this role, bringing with him an incredible amount of experience, knowledge and passion.

“We have benefitted from his valuable contributions on all things SMR over the past few years, alongside his drive to improve the landscape for the sector overall.

“The UK’s car fleet continues its rapid transformation. Policy changes, decisions on motoring tax, and fleet priorities are causing the mix of ICE, hybrid, and electric vehicles to constantly shift.

“Having Vince at the heart of our discussions around how that impacts the SMR landscape keeps us in a strong position.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Blaine for his outstanding hard work, leadership, and commitment to the VFM programme.
