FLEET Operations has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of new business development manager Kris Howarth.

Howarth, who joins from Inchcape, brings with him more than 15 years’ experience in the fleet automotive sector, including business development roles with Activa Contracts, Koelliker UK and Corporate Motor Finance.

His new position will see him responsible for strategic sales development, helping to expand Fleet Operations’ existing client base across the UK in line with the company’s commercial growth targets.

“I’m looking forward to establishing strong and long-standing relationships with new fleet customers at this exciting time for the company,” said Howarth.

Managing director Richard Hipkiss added: “Kris is highly respected through the industry and, with a wealth of experience in generating new business opportunities, he will be a valuable addition to our sales team.

Fleet Operations has achieved a 20 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue and over the coming months is set to announce product launches and further initiatives to help clients achieve levels of cost and efficiency savings.
