Northgate liveried van - part of Northgate's rebranding

Northgate: rebranding all its flexible lease vans

Better business profile to boost business

NORTHGATE, the flexible van hire specialist, has rebranded its entire network to Northgate Vehicle Hire.

The company has moved from a network of 20 local individual brands to the creation of one national brand, it said.

Northgate Vehicle Hire will now operate as 12 business areas with more than 60 sites across the UK and Ireland. As a result, Northgate’s 60,000-strong fleet of mainly light commercial vehicles will now carry the Northgate Vehicle Hire branding, making it the third largest liveried fleet in the UK after BT and Royal Mail.

Marketing director, Ross Clarkson, commented: “These changes are already delivering higher levels of brand awareness and increasing demand for vehicles both from our corporate and retail customers. The rebranding to Northgate is being supported by the implementation of a single set of best practice processes offering customers more consistent levels of customer service.”

Mr Clarkson said the company’s expansion to become the UK’s leader in van hire has been built on the local provision of service to small businesses, a service which will remain fundamental to Northgate’s business model, Mr Clarkson confirmed.
