Ford launches Transit City van at CV Show

Ford has launched its Transit City van at the CV Show, designed for fleet managers and van drivers to manage costs when driving in congestion zones.
The van has been developed over the last two and a half years, with its Chinese manufacturing partner supporting with the parts.
Ford said that the reason they wanted to bring the van to the market is to support business owners and fleet operators who have been priced out of jobs in city centres due to congestion charges.
Ford wanted to support fleets in opening up their radius of business with a small electric van.
It also said the price of the van aims to add further financial support, with an entry-level price of £29,000, excluding the £5000 Electric Van Grant it is eligible for.
