Fraikin appoints COO, expands senior leadership team

Fraikin, a commercial fleet services provider, has expanded its senior leadership team, creating the role of chief financial and transformation officer and promoting John Cunningham to chief operating officer.

Craig Douglas (pictured) was appointed as chief financial and transformation officer and will be tasked with enhancing the business’ sustainability, as well as implementing strategies for growth.

Prior to joining Fraikin, Douglas previously held a similar role at BMI Group and has a wider background in enterprise leadership.

Douglas said: “The automotive industry is evolving rapidly, and Fraikin is taking proactive steps to stay ahead of the curve.

“Our focus is on delivering smart, flexible solutions that support our customers’ unique business requirements and long-term ambitions.

Cunningham has worked at Fraikin since 1994 and previously held the role of customer and fleet solutions director.

Cunningham will be responsible for procurement, the vehicle supply chain, as well as overseeing Fraikin’s customer service and technical operations.

Cunningham said: “Having been a part of Fraikin for more than three decades, I’m proud to take on this new role at such a pivotal time for the business and our industry.

“Our customers rely on Fraikin to deliver consistently and efficiently, and I’m looking forward to working with the supply chain, procurement and operations teams to ensure we continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
