Genesis GV60 Magma performance EV to arrive in H2 2026

Genesis has confirmed that UK deliveries of the GV60 Magma, its high-performance electric vehicle (EV), will begin in the second half of 2026.

A pre-production model is on public display at Genesis Studio Battersea in London.

Customers are able to register their interest online or with a dealer and order books are set to open in the coming weeks.

The GV60 Magma has 650PS and can accelerate to 60mph in 3.4 seconds. It has the same 84kWh battery capacity and dual-motor setup as the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N and 6 N.

Range is 278 miles.

It also has the same Virtual Gearshift system, which simulates an internal combustion engine (ICE) and paddle-shift gearbox.

Compared to the standard GV60, Magma models gain a head-up display, 21-inch forged alloy wheels, uprated suspension and 10-way electrically adjustable suede bucket seats.

Magma models are visually distinguished by a rear wing, a 20mm lower ride height, orange brake calipers and a unique front bumper.
