Global Vehicle Group acquires Fleet Alliance, brings total funded value to £2.5bn
After the acquisition, Global will have an aggregate fleet of more than 70,000 vehicles.
B2B vehicle supplier Global Vehicle Group has acquired Fleet Alliance, a leasing broker and fleet management business.
Fleet Alliance is based in Glasgow, and primarily focuses on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), providing leases and fleet management services, using proprietary technology.
The firm currently manages a fleet of more than 30,000 vehicles, offering fleet management tools and driver support through a mobile app.
It joins Global Vans, XLCR, and LCV Group, the existing members of Global Vehicle Group.
The acquisition allows Global to cover the entire B2B market, from single customers, to fleets of more than 1,000 vehicles.
The enlarged business will have annual volumes of around 18,000 units and an aggregate fleet size of more than 70,000 vehicles, with a total funded value of over £2.5bn.
Andrew Hurst, CEO of Global Vehicle Group, said: “We are immensely proud to welcome Fleet Alliance into the Global Vehicle Group.
“Fleet Alliance’s core area of expertise in the SME and larger corporate space will give GVG complete coverage of the B2B sector and will complement the existing group businesses perfectly.
