Well, maybe the Transit ‘Guy Martin Proper Edition’ is just for you. Just in case you’re not aware of Guy Martin, where this limited edition Transit gets its name, he’s probably best known as motorbike racer and TV presenter.
He is also a big Transit fan and travels around 40,000 miles in his! Anyway, considering how much he uses his Transit, MS-RT basically asked Guy what he’d change about the current Transit and the ‘Guy Martin Proper Edition’ is the result.
On the outside, you’ll first spot the changes to this Transit from the front, with the bespoke bumper, matt silver air vents, sporty ‘A’ design front grille with extra Lazer Lamps and main-beam assist lights, aluminium radiator under-guard for extra protection, Guy Martin liveries and logos, with All-terrain tyres and powder-coated alloys available at extra cost.
Changes aren’t just limited to the outside of the ‘Guy Martin Proper Edition,’ with bespoke seats finished in eco leather to make them easier to clean, a sports steering wheel finished in Nappa leather, special ‘Guy Martin’ dials and lift up access to the bulkhead where applicable.
We’re not finished there either, as buyers of the Transit ‘Guy Martin Proper Edition’ also receive a Guy Martin limited edition gift bag and a limited-edition serial number mounted on a real piece of the wall of death where Guy got his world record.
Available from all Ford dealers, this limited edition is sold as conversion costing £6,995 on top of any Transit.
