Herd Group has promoted Jonathan Hopkinson (pictured) to head of sales.

In his new role, Hopkinson will lead the sales team and oversee the development of Herd Synergy, the company’s fleet mobility solution, which integrates fleet management, flexible vehicle rental, and remarketing services. He will also play a key role in expanding the myHerd franchise network, Herd Hire, which focuses on local van rental.

Hopkinson joined Herd Group in December 2023 and has contributed significantly to the growth of Herd Connect, adding a substantial number of vehicles and customers to the company’s portfolio.

Gemma Dickson, managing director at Herd Group, said: “I am extremely pleased to appoint Jonathan as Herd Group Head of Sales. He has progressed hugely in the company over the last two years and is a very active member of the Leadership Team who will be key in structuring the future of our business.”

Over the past 18 months, Jonathan has driven sales and promoted Herd Synergy while supporting the sales team in securing a high volume of orders.
