LEXUS has extended the IS range with a new kitted-up model that’s bound to appeal to business drivers who spend a lot of time behind the wheel.
The IS 300h Executive Edition has extras worth £3,390 compared with the Luxury model but keeps the same £29,995 on-the-road price.
The main highlights are standard leather upholstery and sat nav, and other equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, seventeen-inch alloys, dusk-sensing HID headlights, cruise control, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, dual-zone climate control and rain-sensing windscreen wipers.
Under the bonnet is the Lexus Hybrid Drive system, which delivers 64.2mpg and 103g/km, with acceleration from rest to 62 mph in 8.3 seconds.
