Leasing and fleet management specialist Holman has announced a new partnership with EV infrastructure provider ChargedEV to deliver a fully managed home charging solution for fleet operators, supporting cost-effective electrification at scale.

Holman said home charging is “around three times cheaper than depot or workplace charging, and over ten times cheaper than public rapid charging”, making it a strategic focus for fleets.

Through the partnership, the company aims to address a key pain point in EV adoption by simplifying the installation, payment and servicing process for both businesses and drivers.

Ross Palman, project lead – electric vehicles at Holman, said: “We were impressed with the strength of ChargedEV’s offering, especially having their own employees carry out every install rather than subcontracting this element.

“As a result, installations are completed to a very high standard, and include ultra cabling and surge protection devices as standard.”

The solution includes a range of chargers from leading manufacturers such as Ohme and Indra, selected following a full tender process involving direct engagement with chargepoint makers and installers.

ChargedEV manages the process from onboarding and driver communications to installation and post-installation support, with its network of over 50 dedicated electricians providing nationwide coverage.

Andrew Pealin, commercial director at ChargedEV, added: “We’re proud to be partnering with Holman to support their customers on the journey to electrification.

“Together, we’ve developed a seamless and fully managed home charging solution tailored to the needs of fleet operators. From streamlined onboarding and driver communications to installation and ongoing support, this partnership ensures a high quality experience at every step.”

For Holman’s customers, key priorities included compatibility with competitive EV home energy tariffs and reimbursement platforms, alongside tailored payment models and comprehensive driver guidance.

A bespoke knowledge hub has been developed to help fleet managers and drivers understand the offering.

Palman said: “Solving the complex issues of paying for and installing home chargers is a key electrification challenge, especially for fleets with commercial vehicles.

“We believe that the offering created between Holman and ChargedEV is the most advanced of its kind on the market, and allows every type of business to put systems in place that suits their particular needs.”

Aidan Bartlett, head of marketing and product development at Holman, said: “This partnership is the first of many new products and services we’re introducing to support our customers across their entire Buy-Drive-Service-Sell lifecycle.

“Key to this is supporting our customers’ journey to electrification with products like Homecharge.”
