Hyundai Inster Cross to start from £28.7k

Off-road styled model tops small electric SUV range.

Hyundai Motor UK has revealed the UK specifications and pricing for its Inster Cross, the off-road styled variant of the brand’s new small electric SUV.

The Inster Cross will cost from £28,745 on the road, heading into showrooms alongside the stock Inster for which pricing has been set from £23,495.

On the exterior the Inster Cross differentiates itself from the stock car with bespoke 17-inch alloy wheels, distinct front and rear bumpers, ‘Cross’ side skirts and embossed black claddings, with body coloured door mirrors and exterior door handles and a rear spoiler with integrated brake light.

Specification highlights include LED rear lights, automatic full projection LED headlights with a dusk sensor, automatic windscreen wipers with a rain sensor, heated door mirrors with a power-folding function and electric adjustment, and roof rails.

Insider there is an electric glass sunroof, wireless phone charging, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition and twin 10.25-inch instrument display and central infotainment screens with navigation, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto and front and rear USB-C charging ports.

Standard safety features include a number of active aids including blind spot, lane keeping and even parking collision avoidance, as well as front and rear parking sensors with rear camera and parking guidance system, and smart cruise control with a stop and go function.

The Inster Cross is supplied as standard with a 49kWh battery, feeding a motor rated at 115hp and with a WLTP range of up to 223 miles on a single charge. Battery heating and a heat pump are fitted as standard for the most effective range and quickest charging times.
