Hyundai IONIQ 9 released with 385 mile range, prices from £64,995

Hyundai has released the UK pricing and specification for the IONIQ 9 six or seven seater electric SUV.
All models have a 110kWh battery, with 800v fast-charging capabilities, and a range of between 372 and 385 miles, depending on specification.
Prices start from £64,995, up to £78,530 for the top-of-the-range 427PS Calligraphy Performance model.

Standard equipment across the range includes a power tailgate, heated, ventilated, and electrically adjustable front seats, second-row heated seats, a pair of 12.3-inch dashboard displays, and 100W interior charging ports.
Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) include: Highway Drive Assist 2.0, Multi Collision Brake Assist, and Downhill Brake Control.
The entry-level ‘Premium’ model has 218PS and rear wheel drive, with a heat pump, and vehicle-to-load (V2L).
307PS ‘Ultimate’ models add a massaging driver’s seat, which can also assist with posture, and Active Noise Control, which uses the car’s speakers to cancel outside noise, while all wheel drive is standard.
The ‘Calligraphy’ model has unique exterior styling, a Nappa leather interior, and adds a UVC Sterilisation Tray.
Calligraphy models are offered with either 307PS or 427PS in ‘Performance’ guise, with a 0-62 time as low as 5.2 seconds.
A six-seater layout and Digital Side Mirrors are also optional on the Calligraphy trim, with six-seat models offering the ability to rotate the second row of seats while parked.
All models have a 3% Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) rate.

The Hyundai IONIQ 9 shares its E-GMP underpinnings with the Kia EV9, as well as smaller EVs such as the IONIQ 5 and 6, the Kia EV6, and the Genesis GV60.
The IONIQ 9 also debuts Hyundai AI Assistant, which can control vehicle functions through voice, and give local restaurant recommendations.
