Hyundai has revised the specification and pricing of the i20 and Bayon, priced from £19,995 and £23,795 respectively.

All Hyundai i20 and Bayon models now feature a 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 90PS, with a standard-fit six-speed manual gearbox, or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox (DCT). No hybrid variants are offered.

The i20 Element serves as the new base model, with standard equipment including a rear-view camera, Lane Keep Assist and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.

For £22,945, the i20 Black Line adds 16-inch black alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, black exterior styling, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Black Line is the new entry-point to the Bayon range, with its specification mirroring that of the i20 Black Line.

The Tech Line trim replaces the i20’s outgoing Premium and Ultimate trims and serves as the range topper for both cars.

It is priced from £24,245 for the i20 and £25,295 for the Bayon, adding 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning, front parking sensors and keyless entry.

Tech Line i20 and Bayon models can be specified with the Tech Pack for an additional £1,000, adding a sunroof and a Bose sound system.

“The introduction of Element as the new entry point and Tech Line as the range-topping option ensures the i20 continues to deliver the blend of quality, efficiency and technology customers expect from Hyundai.

“With the introduction of the new Black Line and Tech Line trims, we’ve strengthened Bayon’s position as one of the best-value compact crossovers on the market.

“Customers benefit from more equipment, sharper styling and a clear, simplified range that makes it easier to choose the Bayon that suits their needs.”

Both cars are now available to order.
