Hyundai shows sub-£25,000 IONIQ 3 EV at Goodwood
It will be offered with two battery options, with the larger allowing for a range of around 300 miles.

The Hyundai IONIQ 3 electric vehicle (EV) made one of its first UK appearances at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, ahead of it going on sale later in the year, with a starting price of under £25,000.
It will be offered with two battery options, with the larger allowing for a range of around 300 miles and the ability to charge from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes.
Hyundai UK said the IONIQ 3 has received the highest level of customer interest of any new model in its history.
The IONIQ 3 will mark the European debut of Pleos Connect, the brand’s latest infotainment system, based on Android Automotive OS.
It has five seats and up to 441 litres of boot space.
Hyundai displayed the car on its stand throughout the festival and sent it on hillclimb runs.
Ashley Andrew, president at Hyundai Motor UK, said: “Goodwood is the perfect stage for one of the first IONIQ 3 appearances in the UK.
“This is a car that we believe will open up electric driving to a whole new group of customers, and the fact that we’re already seeing record levels of interest before it’s even gone on sale tells us everything we need to know about its appeal.”
