Iveco has added Stolen Vehicle Assistance to the Daily van, aiming to improve stolen vehicle recovery to reduce downtime and financial losses.

Stolen Vehicle Assistance uses factory-fitted connected vehicle technology and integrates with Iveco ON, its connected fleet services platform.

Operators can define geographic boundaries, enabling the service to detect unusual vehicle movements.

It operates a 24/7 Security Centre in partnership with Targa Telematics, which will co-ordinate with relevant authorities, manage vehicle tracking and support the recovery process.

Agentic artificial intelligence (AI) is used to analyse vehicle data and suggest the most effective actions for operators to take.

Iveco said the solution can increase recovery rates by up to 90% and limit insurance-related consequences of theft.

Alberto Buttiglieri, product manager for safety and security services at Iveco, said: “With Stolen Vehicle Assistance, we help customers react quickly when a theft occurs and recover their vehicle as fast as possible.

“By combining factory‑fitted connectivity, AI‑driven detection and a 24/7 Security Centre, we turn alerts into coordinated recovery actions that keep vehicles available and businesses running.”
