Jeep has announced the UK pricing and specification for the Compass, with hybrid and electric variants.
Prices for the First Edition models will start at £35,700 for the e-Hybrid, with the electric vehicle (EV) version starting at £39,200.
The e-Hybrid uses a 1.2-litre three cylinder and an electric motor, sourced from the Peugeot 2008, producing 145PS.
Like the Peugeot, the Compass e-Hybrid is not a plug-in, although a plug-in model is expected to join the range at a later date.
The EV variant has a 74kWh battery, giving a range of 310 miles, and 213PS.
160kW DC fast charging allows the EV to charge from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes.
Unusually for a Jeep, all models will be front wheel drive (FWD) at launch, although the Compass offers up to 200mm of ground clearance, and the EV has a wading depth of up to 470mm.
Orders for First Edition models are set to open in Q3.
Later, a pair of longer-range EV models are to join the range, with a FWD 230PS model expected to offer 402 miles of range, and a four wheel drive model, which is expected to achieve 372 miles.
All First Edition models have heated seats, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry and start, level 2 autonomous driving, and a 10-inch digital instrument cluster.
The EV variant also gets a heat pump and a pre-conditioning function as standard.
Optional equipment includes a 360-degree camera, electrically adjustable front seats, and a dual-pane sunroof.
An Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) pack is also offered, which includes predictive adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, semi-automated lane changing, and a head-up display.
Six colours will be offered at launch, including Hawaii Green, Pacific Blue (pictured), and Vulcano Black.
Hybrid models will have 18-inch alloy wheels finished in grey as standard, while EV models get 20-inch black wheels.
