Jefferson launches theft-resistant toolboxes for vans

Jefferson has launched a new line of secure toolboxes, intended to make it more difficult for thieves to steal tools from vans.

The new ‘SiteSafe’ toolboxes are made of heavy-duty steel, and have been designed with theft prevention in mind.

The range includes 400mm, 570mm, 700mm, as well as 850mm variants; all of which are waterproof and have shielded locking points.

All toolboxes are fitted with forklift skids, while castor wheels are available optionally.

Despite tool theft reports decreasing by 18% last year, it’s still a considerable problem for tradespeople, with four in five tradespeople experiencing it at some point, according to Directline.

Some insurance companies do consider anti-theft measures when quoting premiums, so a secure tool storage solution can also reduce insurance costs.
