JG Pest Control expands fleet with new vans from Fleet Alliance

JG Pest Control has expanded its fleet with seven new Peugeot Partner vans, supplied by Fleet Alliance, to support its growing pest control operations.

JG Pest Control has expanded its fleet with seven new Peugeot Partner vans, sourced through Glasgow-based fleet management specialist Fleet Alliance. The move is part of the company’s plans to replace ageing vehicles and support its growing pest control operations.

The Uxbridge-based, family-run firm operates across the Midlands, North West, East, and South of England, providing pest control services to major brands such as Tesco, Asda, McDonald’s, and Holiday Inn, as well as domestic customers.

With a fleet of 62 light commercial vehicles, JG Pest Control required new vehicles to meet its expansion plans. After a competitive tender process, Fleet Alliance provided the most competitive quote and fastest delivery time, securing the order for seven new Peugeot Partner Blue HDi 100PS Asphalt small vans. These vehicles, known for their fuel efficiency and practicality, feature a 1.5-litre diesel engine, six-speed manual gearbox, and front-wheel drive.

Chief operating officer, Callum Gale, said: “After deciding to expand our pest control operations, we found ourselves in need of replacing some ageing vehicles on our fleet to meet our expansion plans.

“During our tender process, we were introduced to account manager Fraser Murray from Fleet Alliance. He was fantastic – not only did he negotiate better terms than any competitor, but also ensured the vans were delivered in record-breaking time.”

The new vans have been financed through 48-month/120,000-mile contract hire agreements, which include servicing, tyres, MOT, and breakdown recovery. They have also been sign-written and fitted with vehicle tracker devices for added security.
