June sees record fleet activity, says VQS
Throughout the month, VQS coordinated almost 5,500 vehicle movements.
Vehicle Quality Solutions (VQS) has found that June 2026 bucked the trend of quiet fleet activity, as it saw record volumes of vehicle movements.
Throughout the month, VQS coordinated almost 5,500 vehicle movements, with its drivers covering 640,062 miles.
The company also conducted more than 4,500 field-based vehicle inspections, identifying over £2m worth of necessary repairs on end-of-contract vehicles.
28% of vehicles moved by VQS in June were diesels, 27% were hybrids, 23% were electric and 21% were petrol.
Simon Jackson, managing director at VQS, said: “June is historically a month where fleet activity takes a collective breath, but this June has completely broken the mould.
“We managed just short of 5,500 vehicle movements and thousands of technical inspections, proving that our capacity to scale is stronger than ever.
“We were exceptionally busy, but crucially, our client portfolio remains healthily diverse.
“We are large enough to handle complex, high-volume seasonal peaks, yet are able to ensure our smaller, independent clients receive the same meticulous level of dedication and care.”
