
A NEW web-based service, maintenace and repair system has been introduced by Honda.
It’s only of use to those companies with more than 25 Honda company cars, so it’s not applicable to businesses with fewer cars.
However, this new SMR (service, maintenance and repair) service, allows business car managers to access all information on their cars online. It can, says Honda, produce large-scale SMR budgets, or even to bring up specific information about an individual car.
Information is stored centrally and available online, making it easily accessible even when on the move, and the information on each car is extremely detailed, even listing components.
“The system, which was developed by FleetData, allows fleets that outright purchase to access information on their cars,” said corporate sales manager, Graham Avent. “It’s easy and flexible to use, too,” Mr Avent added.
The new SMR system can be accessed online by registering first.
