The EV3 and EV4 GT are mechanically related, with the same 81.4kWh battery and dual-motor all wheel drive setup.

Power output is 292PS, split between a 197PS motor on the front axle and a 95PS motor on the rear, enabling acceleration to 62mph in 5.7 seconds for the EV3 and 5.6 seconds for the EV4.

Other additions include Virtual Gear Shift (VGS), which replicates an internal combustion (ICE) engine and paddle-shift gearbox, semi-bucket seats and neon interior accents.

The EV4 GT is available in either Hatchback or Fastback body styles.

The EV5 GT shares the 81.4kWh battery and rear electric motor with the other models, but has a more powerful 211PS front motor, raising output to 306PS.

It has electronically-controlled suspension with a road preview system and a GT-specific interior, featuring semi-bucket seats.

Soohang Chang, president and CEO at Kia Europe, said: “Our new electric Kia GT models prove that electrification can be emotional and resolute.

“The EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT will deliver an engaging, confidence-inspiring drive, combining the instant responsiveness of electric power with sporty character and all-purpose capability.

“These GTs are crafted for those who seek the best of both worlds: excitement while embracing a future of responsible mobility.”
