Kia has announced First Drive Weekend, a customer test drive event for the EV2, giving customers at UK dealerships an early opportunity to drive the recently-launched car.
The event will run from 16th April to 27th June, across most of Kia’s 190 UK dealerships.
Customers will book a one hour slot on a Thursday, Friday or a Saturday, receiving a one-to-one walkaround of the EV2, followed by a 30 minute test drive on a pre-planned route.
Four cars will be present at each participating dealership, all with the smaller 42.2kWh battery.
The 42.2kWh model has 197 miles of range and 147PS, while the larger 61kWh battery gives a range of 278 miles.
It has a 15-litre front boot and a 362 litre rear boot, which can be extended to 403 litres when the rear seats are slid forward.
Available equipment includes Remote Smart Parking Assist Entry, Digital Key, Vehicle-to-load (V2L) and Smart Cruise Control 2.
Kia has not yet announced UK pricing and standard specification for the EV2. Deliveries will begin later in 2026.
