Kia UK has announced its latest move in supporting women’s cricket, becoming a proud partner of Surrey County Cricket Club’s newly formed professional women’s team, known as the Three Feathers, as they begin their inaugural season.

The partnership builds on Kia’s 15-year sponsorship of Surrey CCC’s men’s team and more than a decade of support for women’s cricket, which began in 2013 with the supply of cars to the National England Women’s Cricket Team. Kia has also been the headline sponsor of Surrey CCC and the Kia Oval since 2011, with the current sponsorship agreement extended to 2029—making it one of the longest brand partnerships in English sport.

Paul Philpott, president and CEO of Kia UK, said: “Our partnership with Surrey County Cricket Club over the last 15 years is something we at Kia are incredibly proud of. I am even prouder to be supporting the club as the women’s team enters a new era of professional cricket. Inclusion and equality lie at the centre of our brand values, and I am delighted that we can promote these values through our partnership with the team; who I wish the best of luck for the upcoming season.”

Kia’s logo will feature prominently on the official kit of the Three Feathers, continuing the brand’s tradition of supporting elite women’s cricket, including sponsorship of the National England Women’s Cricket Team between 2014 and 2021. Over the years, Kia has provided more than 260 vehicles to support English cricket, including 160 cars for England Women and 95 for Surrey CCC. Under the new sponsorship agreement, Kia UK will supply eight cars per season to the Surrey women’s team.

Emma Calvert, director of women’s cricket at Surrey County Cricket Club, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Kia UK as the official sponsor of our new, professional women’s side at the club, and we are looking forward to starting this new and exciting chapter of women’s cricket, with Kia, our familiar and supportive partner, alongside us. We are immeasurably grateful for Kia’s unending support of our club, our iconic location, and the women’s cricket team.”

The Three Feathers will make their competitive debut in the ECB One-Day Cup against Somerset Women at The County Ground in Beckenham on 23 April 2025, before playing their first home game at the Kia Oval on 5 June 2025 against Hampshire in the 2025 Vitality Blast.
