After five years on sale, Land Rover has updated its Defender SUV, with a range of styling tweaks, and new onboard tech.
The updated model has a larger 13.1-inch central touchscreen, and Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, which automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed while off-road, maintaining a consistent level of comfort, and enabling the driver to focus on steering.

A driver monitoring system is now available in certain markets, using a camera to ensure that the driver is paying attention, giving visual and aural warnings if the driver isn’t focusing on the road.
The exterior features new headlights and smoked rear lights, with fog lights and a black grille bar now standard across the range.
A pair of new colours join the line-up: Woolstone Green and Borasco Grey, as well as a new 22-inch alloy wheel design, finished in dark grey.

Engine options have been carried over, including the 5.0-litre supercharged V8, which has been discontinued in all other Land Rover and Jaguar models.
Body styles remain the same, with the two-door 90 sitting below the four door 110 and 130.
The Defender OCTA, the highest performance variant, is now offered in the exclusive shade of Sargasso Blue; with new Textured Graphite and Chopped Carbon Fibre exterior accents also exclusive to the model.

Deployable or fixed side steps are now offered as an accessory, and the Defender OCTA is now available with an integrated winch, rated for 4,500kg.
