Lexus: number one for car satisfaction say JD Power experts

LEXUS is number one for customer satisfaction.

For the seventh successive year, the luxury Japanese brand has topped the JD Power/What Car? magazine survey rankings.

Close behind at equal second were Honda and Škoda. 

Mercedes-Benz was the most improved brand in 2007. Other improvers included Citroën and Land Rover.

Lowest for satisfaction were Alfa Romeo, Smart, and Chrysler.

The 2007 survey was based on the evaluations of more than 18,000 UK car owners after an average of two years of ownership. The evaluations are based on quality and reliability; vehicle appeal which (performance, design, comfort); dealer service satisfaction; ownership costs (fuel consumption, insurance, service and repair).
